Sara's Adventures in America

I'm going to be in Columbus Ohio for the next week or so, so many entertaining pictures are sure to come. After going to the bank and getting American funds for my trip, I've discovered the pain of the exchange rate. Apparently $290 CDN translates to only $244 US. Bah humbug.

Other than that, I got an iPod for xmas which shall come in handy for the 10 hr car ride. 10 hrs in a cramped space with my little sister. Joy.

Ironically, the advertisment on this page has Borat on it (whether legally or not, who knows).

This is ironic, because the moment I read the title of your journal, I knew I'd have to come here and ask if you're being funded by the Canadian government, to make movie film on US and A.

Indeed, I have been funded by the Canadian goverment to make a film on the US. So far, my main focus is the high number of flags, churches and sports nuts.

Seriously, the people here go NUTS for the local university team. They have WHOLE STORES dedicated to Ohio State merchandise. It's fucking ridiculous.

I got some sweet shoes today. They're these cool slip-on deals with mini skulls all over. They kinda look like Converse low-tops but fit like Vans. Tres cool.
